SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS
PRE-SLICED STEAK: I bought pre-sliced steak from the meat department at my local grocery store.

BANANA PEPPERS: I’ve also added banana peppers alongside the green bell peppers before.
How To Make This Philly Cheesesteak Sliders Recipe
PRO TIP:
You can assemble these sliders up to a day before baking and leave them covered in the fridge until you’re ready to pop them in the oven.
STEP ONE: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.
STEP TWO: Slice the slider rolls in half horizontally to separate the top and bottom, keeping them together as one slab. Do not break them into individual rolls.
STEP THREE: Place the bottom half on the baking sheet.
STEP FOUR: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet. Season the thin slices or shaved steak with salt and pepper and cook over medium heat until done, remove from the skillet, and place on top of the bottom slab of rolls.

STEP FIVE: Take about 10 pieces of your sliced onion and set them aside. In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil and cook green pepper and remaining onion together until tender.

STEP SIX: Place the green pepper and sautéed onions on top of the cooked steak.
STEP SEVEN: Top everything with eight slices of provolone cheese. If you really love it extra cheesy, you could always add a little more.

STEP EIGHT: Place the other half of the rolls on top.
STEP NINE: Melt butter and the concentrated beef stock together in a small bowl. Stir to combine. Brush mixture over top of the rolls. Finely dice the reserved onion slices and sprinkle over the top of the rolls.
PRO TIP:
Don’t skimp on the melted butter. It soaks into all the nooks and crannies and adds a ton of flavor to both the top and the bottom half of the rolls.

STEP TEN: Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the slices of cheese have melted and the tops of the rolls have started to brown. If necessary, cover rolls with aluminum foil to prevent them from browning too much.
STEP ELEVEN: With a sharp knife, slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
