Potato Chip Chicken Tenders Ingredients

Potato Chip Chicken Tenders raw ingredients that are labeled

You’ll need:

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 cup flour

  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 (8.5-ounce) bag of ruffle chips, crushed

SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS

CHICKEN: Instead of slicing 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, you could opt for buying the chicken tenders. If you go this route, you will need a package of about 15 chicken tenders.

POTATO CHIPS: You can use any type of ruffled plain potato chips for your crispy coating. Whichever brand you prefer is just fine.

You could also get creative and experiment with different potato chip flavors if you are feeling adventurous.

Storage

IN THE FRIDGE: Leftover potato chip chicken strips can be stored in the fridge in a Ziploc bag or airtight container for 3 to 4 days. To reheat them and keep the breading crunchy, I recommend reheating your chicken tenders in the oven or a toaster oven instead of the microwave.

IN THE FREEZER: You can freeze leftover, cooked chicken tenders for up to 1 month. Place them in the freezer, on a baking sheet, until they are hard. Then put them into a Ziploc freezer bag. You can cook them straight from the freezer at 425°F for 20-25 minutes.
