You could use leftover chicken or a rotisserie chicken you pick up at the grocery store for an even quicker prep time.

Crack Chicken Sandwiches Substitutions and Additions

CHEESE: You can substitute shredded Colby jack cheese for the shredded cheddar cheese.

ROLLS: You can substitute plain rolls for the sweet Hawaiian rolls but the sweet rolls just add that extra yummy factor.

RANCH: You can substitute zesty or spicy ranch mix for the plain ranch if you want a spicy version of this easy recipe.

CHICKEN: You can use chicken thighs if you prefer dark meat to white meat.

OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

Don’t skimp on the butter. It soaks into all the nooks and crannies and adds a ton of flavor to both the top and the bottom half of the slider buns.

How to serve Chicken Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These crack chicken sandwiches make an easy meal with a Caesar salad and potato chips on your plate. The whole family will love all the flavor packed into the small package. These are also a fun addition to any appetizer table along with our cucumber bites and chips and dip.

Sliders are such fun alternatives to full-size sandwiches. Our pizza sliders and bacon cheeseburger sliders are two more great recipes.

How to store Crack Chicken Sandwiches

IN THE FRIDGE: Store any leftovers of these cheesy chicken sliders in an airtight container for up to 3 days.

IN THE FREEZER: We do not recommend freezing these pizza sliders as the buns will get soggy, and they won’t reheat well.
