A collage of vibrant summer dessertsโ€”ice cream, pie, cake, and cookiesโ€”frames the bold text: 100+ Easy Summer Desserts - Ice Cream and Fruity Favorites, No-Bake Treats & more.

I don’t know about you, but around my house, desserts look a bit different around here during the hot summer months. Once the temperatures start climbing, I’m reaching for frozen treats like Cookie Monster Ice Cream, homemade Fudgesicles, and Orange Sherbet long before I’m thinking about rich cakes or elaborate baking projects.

There’s just something about a scoop of homemade ice cream or a slice of ice cream cake on a hot afternoon that feels like summer done right. Of course, not every great summer dessert comes from the freezer. Some of my favorite recipes on this list are the chilled classics that seem to show up at every potluck and family gathering.

A colorful collage of summer desserts—ice cream, berry cobbler, cheesecake, and sorbet—with text that reads “100+ Easy Summer Desserts - Ice Cream, No-Bake Treats, and Fruity Favorites!”.

Strawberry Pretzel Salad, Million Dollar Cake, Cherry Yum Yum, and Heaven on Earth Cake have all stood the test of time for a reason. They’re easy to make, feed a crowd, and disappear fast.

If fresh fruit is what summer means to you, you’ll find plenty of inspiration here, too. From peach, pineapple, blueberry, and raspberry desserts to nostalgic favorites like Dole Whip, Watermelon Cake, and Strawberry Shortcake Icebox Cake, these recipes celebrate the flavors I look forward to all year long. Whether you’re planning a backyard BBQ, bringing dessert to a potluck, or simply looking for an excuse to make something sweet, you’ll find plenty of warm-weather favorites below.

Pineapple Dump Cake

Pineapple Dump Cake is proof that simple recipes are often the most well-received at parties. The pineapple flavor shines through, and nobody needs to know how little effort it took to make.

Caramelized Bananas

A few minutes in a skillet transforms basic bananas into something completely drool-worthy with my Caramelized Bananas recipe. I love spooning them over ice cream, but I’ve also been known to eat them straight from the pan.

A bowl of vanilla ice cream topped with caramelized bananas; a spoon lifts a portion above the bowl. In the background, a pan and fresh bananas sit beside a bowl of brown sugar, highlighting the dessert’s rich flavors.
