10 Boys Birthday Party Theme Ideas I Love This Week

By  | Last Updated:

It’s so hard to think of awesome boys birthday party themes this time of year. Boys still want to celebrate their birthdays, even if it is getting close to Christmas! We have four December family celebrations—yikes! Whether you have a December birthday to make merry over or if you’re thinking of ideas for the future, here are some great themes I’ve gathered from my favorite sites this week to consider for your next boy birthday party. Some of my favorite boys birthday party themes this week include the winter wonderland theme, robots on parade, a football feature, pirates, planes, construction…and yeah, it’s a circus!

MY FAVORITE BOY BIRTHDAY PARTIES AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Boys Birthday Party Ideas Christmas Theme

1.) From Charming Touch Parties via Hostess With the Mostess: Festive Winter Wonderland Joint Birthday Party – This colorful party references the red and green of Christmas, but a good dose of boy blue takes it beyond holiday sparkle. Lots of cute snowmen and snowflakes with a hot cocoa bar, plus attention to detail make this party especially delightful.

2.) From Era uma Vez via Kara’s Party Ideas: Mickey Mouse Birthday Party – Mickey stars again in this 3rd birthday party. The “wow” factor here is an abundance of balloons in the dessert table background. This gathering of Mickeys includes the favorite mouse in topiary form.

3.) From Auntie’s Sweet Life via A to Z Celebrations: Snowman Winter Party – Even if you don’t have snow on the ground, you can celebrate inside with Frosty’s cousins at this red, blue and white party. Snowmen, snowflake garlands and pennants could almost make you say “brrrr”!

Boys Birthday Party Ideas - Robot Theme

4.) From Arteria Atelie via Kara’s Party Ideas: Robot Themed 4th Birthday Party – Robots hanging from the ceiling, perched on the table and standing on the floor make a statement! This looks like a happy celebration with an abundance of color and friendly robot figures. Repetition of a gear motif keeps this party moving.

Boys Birthday Party Ideas - Football Theme

5.) From Party Like Paula via Pizzazzerie: Football Birthday Party – Besides terrific red and white medallions as a backdrop, this dessert table serves treats on football based pedestals. The most unique feature of this party is the six flavors of popcorn bar.

6.) From Not Just a Mommy via Design Dazzle: Hoggy Holidays –Yup. That’s hoggy, as in pigs! A “punny” take that a boy might just think is too hilarious, this party invites guests to pig-out on a table loaded with treats.

Boys Birthday Party Ideas - Construction Theme

7.) From Party on Purpose: Great Construction Birthday Party Ideas – Customized hard hats and tool belts aren’t necessary for constructing your own cookie designs, but they sure add a lot to a cute party! Unique color choices and a darling birthday banner are especially noteworthy.

Boys Birthday Party Ideas - Pirate Theme

8.) From Kats Cakes: An Adorable Pirate Themed Birthday – A pirate party in orange, blue and black, plus no scary skulls and crossbones, offers a novel way to celebrate this theme. Lots of fun food monikers and entertainment ideas for boys who enjoy adventure.

9.) From Hello My Sweet: Plane Themed Birthday Party – Model airplanes, fun games and bright pops of color abound in this party to make imaginations soar. An especially fun photo booth is a great idea.

10.) From Moondance Photography: Circus Themed 1st Birthday – Happy looking patterns and bright colors provide lots of pizzazz in this fun party. Grinning clowns, a mini cake carousel and more candy than anyone could eat help make this party especially festive.

MY FAVORITE PINS THIS WEEK:

How ‘bout some holiday taste treats? These look good enough to eat!

1.) Bite sized party bark :: This recipe calls for white chocolate, cranberries, toffee and chocolate chunks. Melt the chocolate, mix everything up and pour into festive shaped ice cube trays. Sounds good to me!

2.) Rice Krispie trees :: Perennial favorite treats take on a different form for Christmas. Make one for your gingerbread house…or make an entire forest…to eat!

3.) 20 hot cocoa recipes :: Lots of cocoa beverage ideas to warm you from the inside out. Also included is a non-dairy recipe and a hot weather version.

P.S. Do you have a little one that has a birthday around Christmas? From 4 Kids Cakes: This Christmas Birthday Party features lovely holiday decorations, an amazing array of sweets and a super hot chocolate bar would delight anyone who shares their celebration with the Christmas season. This party was taken outside, but would work equally well inside, too.
