Precious watercolor details make this boy’s animal parade birthday party exude an air of vintage sophistication.
Designed by Keren, of Keren Precel Events, this darling celebration was designed for a special one-year-old named Peter.
With a watercolor drawing of an animal parade as the inspiration piece, Keren styled a beautiful event using an earthy color palette of green, orange and yellow. Sweet decorations paired nicely with an appetizing menu, which included traditional party favorites like cake and cupcakes.

Admire the details captured by Clay Williams and Alex Nirenberg.
The obvious focal point for this event was a long buffet table backed with a beautiful watercolor animal parade and “Happy 1st Birthday Peter” lettering.
Just look at those adorable party-hat-wearing, balloon-toting animals!
The natural wood table was a nice contrast to the variety of white serving pieces featuring savory dishes and delicate desserts by Alex Nirenberg and Rinat Tzadok of the Keren Precel Events team.
The gleam of silver and glass add extra sparkle to the display.
Savory options included quinoa salad served in glass jars with mini tasting spoons, and skewered meatballs with marinara sauce in single serve dishes.
Small tasting dishes allow guests the satisfaction of a variety of morsels from many dishes. Additionally, mini quiches and Caprese salad skewers were neatly displayed on the tantalizing smorgasbord.
Sweet options were plentiful on this lovely buffet. Seasonal fresh fruit is always welcome, especially when accented with a touch of vanilla custard!
I love how small, watercolor balloon embellishments add a note of celebration here, too. Amazing animal shaped macarons were stacked in a glass cloche, topped with a cascading ribbon.
Not one, but three different birthday cakes were on display, as well as three different cupcake choices, each with real toy animals serving as toppers.
Isn’t the banner cake topper a precious piece? The watercolor details throughout unite the theme.
In addition, Keren thoughtfully created a “baby bar” with child-friendly food options.
Soft pasta and tea sandwiches were among the nibble dishes offered. Small-fry servings of fresh fruit and veggies were also available.
A beautiful beverage dispenser full of lemonade provided a refreshing drink option.
Place settings at the dining table were made party ready by repeating the sweet watercolor motif on the napkin and utensil pouches and a darling watercolor placemat.
Embellished water bottles and mason jars with daisy cut lids add to the setting, especially with the paper straws and “Peter” flags.
Guests were invited to take home beautiful animal shaped cookies, attractively packaged, and cupcakes topped with novelty toy animals.
What a special celebration for one fortunate little boy! Keren Precel always does a stunning job on her events.
You may remember this boy’s pizza party or this British birthday bash that we’ve previously shared. Look forward to seeing more of Kerens work!
