Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My
Lazy Cooking Bundle
When you think about boy’s birthday parties you may not think of pigs, but toddlers and preschoolers love Peppa Pig as much as Peppa Pig loves jumping in puddles.
Rainbow-hued decorations, exciting game and activity ideas plus an adorable dessert table created a delightful party scene. No one should have been surprised that larger-than-life-sized Peppa Pig herself showed up.
She felt right at home in her rain boots among the paper puddles, cupcakes and a darling birthday cake. Kate’s Precious Moments Photography captured it all. Read on to see how Michelle transformed animation into reality.

This party has so many special and intricate decorations and party treats. The simple and sweet backdrop perfectly allows the WOW focus on the finely sculpted desserts.
Miss Shell’s Cakes created the show-stopping centerpiece: an extraordinarily detailed confection topped with fondant figures so accurate that at first I mistook them for real toys.
It’s flanked by adorable apple-and strawberry-shaped sugar cookies.
A pair of Peppa’s iconic red rubber boots, in toddler size, is a precious way to conceal small candy filled dishes.
Tinted apothecary jars on pedestals showcase more themed sweets like “Raindrops” (pearly colored gumballs), “Peppa”s Teddy Bear Biscuits, and marshmallows.
Tiny gum paste boots stand in fondant puddles (complete with little splashes!) on top of chocolate cupcakes.
The occasional addition of a cocktail umbrella is perfect. Michelle cleverly painted and layered flat wooden flower shapes to create a faux tabletop puddle.
Liam’s Peppa Pig toy in the background adds scale to the diminutive cupcake toppers, besides looking cute.
These ice cream cones look almost too perfect to eat…it may be because they’re not ice cream at all, but cake balls cloaked in dipping chocolate atop mini cones! Giant swirled rainbow lollies look so fun arranged in an oversized waffle cone.
I love the rainbow ruffles, the fluffy texture of the crepe backdrop, and that giant apple prop. George stands at the ready with pirate hats, and Happy Mrs. Chicken’s eggs (and a few chicks!) look sweet on a grass mat blooming with tiny flowers.
Wobbly jellies, fairy wands, and Grandpa Pig’s apples round out a scene sure to set little imaginations soaring.
Fun activities like paper puddle jumping and Mr. Potato Sack races got little bodies moving, and adorable cloud balloons by Balloons Delivered took the fun sky high.
Some of the menu items are represented on a grand scale with beautiful, over-sized props that look like treats! What’s more exciting than giant donuts and ice cream cones?
Michelle set a remarkable guest table, complemented by her signature Tiffany chairs, with chair backers custom designed by Marcella Creations. Handmade party hats waited for guests at each place setting.
A gingham tablecloth and strawberries from Grandpa Pig’s garden evoke a perfectly Peppa picnic! Mossy mini flower pots are made food safe by lining with plastic wrap.
Michelle crafted cardboard cutout “muddy puddle” coasters — for muddle puddle milk, of course! Individual milk bottles each have a chocolate-filled straw to turn the milk “muddy”.
The highlight of the party for the birthday boy and all of his guests was meeting Peppa Pig! Toddlers and preschoolers love Peppa Pig because she’s perpetually joyful and delights in simple things, like muddy puddles.
This Peppa Pig Birthday party fully captured that glee.
