After eyeing up Mike’s colorful and delicious looking “eye-scream” bar, there are so many styling elements I am swooning over! The doors make such a clever backdrop for the dessert table.
I love how Danielle used printable party decorations and food labels to tie in the Monsters University theme in a colorful way.
An amazing Sulley inspired cake, by Bake a Wish Cakes and More, made a perfect centerpiece for the table. The purple shag fabric base was such a fun touch.
These Sully inspired rice crispie treats would go perfect with this cake. And so would these Mike ones!
Monsters University themed cookies were an adorable, edible way to tie in some of the characters from the movie. Danielle didn’t spare any details. Color coordinating napkins and utensils were tied up with themed printables and neatly displayed for guests.
One of my favorite parts of the dessert table set up is the “eye-scream” bar portion of the table. Adding levels to her display, Danielle maximized her table space, allowing her to offer more topping selections.
Don’t you just love the colorful containers and food labels for easy choosing? And those ice cream cups are fabulous.
The amazing mix of colors and polka dots makes this dessert table display so appealing.
Little monsters need more than dessert to fill up their tummies. Danielle also offered a delicious menu of savory and healthy food options, all cleverly labeled with themed signs.
A balloon and party streamer installation set the stage for a gorgeous food table.
Offerings included clever, but not-so-scary choices, such as: George Sanderson’s Sandwiches, Boo’s Fruit Bites, Sulley’s Salsa, and Randall’s Ranch Dip and Chips.
There was even an adorable beverage station serving up Johnny’s Monster Juice with cute polka dot cups and striped straws. Make sure you check out how to make a Sulley cup!
I’m sure this Monsters University birthday party is one that Danielle’s 4-year-old will not soon forget!
