BANANAS: You can substitute frozen bananas for fresh ones in this fruit smoothie.

VANILLA: You can add a ¼ to ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract or even a touch of honey for a slightly different flavor to the smoothie.

FRUIT: You can add other frozen fruit to the smoothie, such as blueberries, raspberries, or blackberries.

MILK: For an even richer banana strawberry smoothie, you can substitute ⅓ cup heavy cream for the whole milk in this easy recipe.

STEP TWO: Pulse on low 4 to 5 times, then blend on low speed using the milkshake or smoothie option for 1 minute until smooth. Garnish and serve immediately.

PRO TIP:

If your smoothie is too thick, adding a little extra milk will help thin it out to a drinkable consistency.
