To make this drink, you’ll need:

  • 4 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 large scoops of coffee-flavored ice cream
  • 1 cup of whole milk
  • 2½ ounces of vodka
  • 2 ounces of Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur
  • 1½ ounces of Kahlua rum & coffee liqueur

For The Garnish:

  • Chocolate sauce in a squeeze bottle
  • A squirt of extra creamy whipped topping

PRO TIP:

When choosing your brand of ice cream and chocolate sauce, be sure to choose a good quality version. Remember, the better the quality of your ingredients, the tastier your frozen mudslide drink will be.

Substitutions And Additions

DAIRY-FREE: If you need to make this boozy milkshake dairy-free, you can substitute Bailey’s Irish cream for Bailey’s Almande version. It is made with almond milk.

Kahlua coffee liqueur is already dairy-free.

You can substitute dairy-free vanilla and coffee-flavored ice cream for the traditional ice cream and almond milk for the whole milk in this recipe.

VODKA: While vodka is the classic choice for mudslide, you can experiment with flavored vodka options like vanilla, caramel, or even espresso-infused vodka.

KAHLÚA: If you don’t have Kahlúa on hand, you can substitute it with other coffee liqueurs like Tia Maria or Patron XO Café to maintain that rich coffee flavor.

How To Make This Mudslide Drink Recipe

STEP ONE: Add the vanilla ice cream, coffee-flavored ice cream, whole milk, vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and Kahlua liqueur to the container of a large blender.
