This classic mudslide drink is a tasty cocktail that is just like boozy ice cream in a glass. The adult beverage has plenty of creamy liqueur, vodka, and ice cream to create an indulgent guilty pleasure that you will enjoy sipping.

You’ll need:

  • 4 large scoops of vanilla ice cream
  • 2 large scoops coffee flavored ice cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2½ ounces of vodka
  • 2 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream liqueur
  • 1½ ounces Kahlua rum & coffee liqueur

When choosing your brand of ice cream and chocolate sauce, be sure to choose a good quality version. Remember, the better the quality of your ingredients, the tastier your frozen mudslide drink will be.

SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS

DAIRY-FREE: If you need to make this boozy milkshake drink dairy-free, you can substitute Bailey’s Irish cream original for Bailey’s Almande version. It is made with almond milk. Kahlua coffee liqueur is already dairy-free. You can substitute dairy-free vanilla and coffee-flavored ice cream for the traditional ice cream and almond milk for the whole milk in this recipe.

How to Make This Mudslide Drink Recipe

You can either double this recipe to serve four or cut it in half if you only need one serving at a time.

STEP ONE: Add the vanilla ice cream, coffee-flavored ice cream, whole milk, vodka, Irish cream liqueur, and Kahlua liqueur to the container of a large blender.

STEP TWO: Blend on medium-high for 1 to 2 minutes or until your mudslide drink is smooth and frothy.

STEP THREE: While your cocktail glass is tilted at an angle, slowly drizzle the chocolate sauce around the sides of each glass. You will want to turn the glass slowly while you allow the chocolate sauce to drip down the sides of the inside of each glass.

PRO TIP:

You will need to ensure that the glass you choose to serve this delicious cocktail in is at least a 16-ounce capacity. A daiquiri glass, highball glass, or even a craft beer glass will all work great for this recipe.

STEP FOUR: Divide the mudslide drink between the two glasses, top with a generous squirt of whipped topping and an additional chocolate drizzle.
