OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

We have tested this recipe with both the Ninja and Cosori air fryers and included details below. Make sure to check your air fryer manual for cooking times for your specific brand.

Ninja Air Fryer:

STEP ONE: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. (This should take 3 to 4 minutes)

STEP TWO: Sprinkle the frozen patties on one side with salt and pepper.

PRO TIP:

You can lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray, but since the hash browns can be on the oily side, it’s really not necessary.

STEP THREE: Place 4 to 5 hash browns in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8 minutes, flip the hash browns, and continue to cook for 6 to 7 minutes until crispy. Remove the hash browns from the basket. Repeat the steps for the remaining hash browns. Serve while hot.

PRO TIP:

To keep from scratching the air fryer basket, use either a silicone spatula or silicone-coated tongs to flip the hash browns.

STEP FOUR: Place the air fryer basket back into the air fryer and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, checking at the 3-minute mark for doneness.
