Ingredients

¼teaspoonkosher salt,optional seasoning
¼teaspoonblack pepper,optional seasoning
Instructions
Ninja Air Fryer
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F. (This should take 3-4 minutes)
Sprinkle the frozen hash browns on one side with salt and pepper.
Place 4 to 5 hash browns in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8 minutes, flip the hash browns and continue to cook for 6 to 7 minutes until crispy. Remove the hash browns from the basket. Repeat the steps for the remaining hash browns. Serve while hot.
Cosori Air Fryer
Place 5 to 6 hash browns in the air fryer basket. No need to preheat the air fryer.
Sprinkle the frozen hash browns with salt and pepper.
Place the air fryer basket into the Cosori. Set to 400°F and 7 minutes. After 7 minutes, remove the basket and flip the hash browns over using a spatula. If desired add salt and pepper to this side of the hash brown too.
Place the air fryer basket back into the air fryer and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes, checking at the 3-minute mark for doneness. If you like them darker and more crunchy you can go 1 to 2 more minutes but keep an eye on them.
Remove hash browns and repeat for however many more you want to prepare!
Notes
We have tested this recipe with both the Ninja and Cosori air fryers and included details below. Make sure to check your air fryer manual for cooking times for your specific brand.
You can lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray, but since the hash browns can be on the oily side, it’s really not necessary.
To keep from scratching the air fryer basket, use either a silicone spatula or silicone-coated tongs to flip the hash browns.
