You’ll need:

  • 2 cups of chocolate sauce or hot fudge sauce
  • 4 prepared brownies

Substitutions And Additions

For this recipe, I made a brownie recipe meant for a 9×13 pan but baked it in an 8×8 square pan so the brownies would be extra thick. You can use whatever leftover brownies you have for this recipe.

STEP ONE: Preheat your cast iron skillets over medium-high heat until the water sizzles on the surface when dropped. Carefully move the skillets to a wooden trivet.

PRO TIP:

Be very careful when transporting the hot plate to the table, as it will be sizzling and very hot.

STEP TWO: Pour about ¼ cup of the sauce on each of the heated skillets, then place the cut brownie in the skillet. Top the brownies with ice cream.

STEP THREE: Drizzle more chocolate sauce on top of the ice cream. Serve the hot brownies immediately.

PRO TIP:

Serve the sizzling brownie immediately after assembly to get the full sizzle and warm gooeyness.
