SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS

Nuts: While my kiddos tend to prefer the classic rainbow chip sprinkles, I prefer to put nuts on my Cosmic Brownies. I love to add crushed walnuts or pecans to half the batch so that we can all enjoy our brownies just the way we like them!

STEP TEN: Pour the chocolate over the top of the brownies. Use a spatula to spread the chocolate into an even layer. Add the sprinkles on top of the chocolate.

PRO TIP: Some cosmic brownies can have nuts. Simply swap the nuts out for the sprinkles in step ten, above.

STEP ELEVEN: Chill the brownies until they set, about 2 hours to overnight. Use the parchment to lift the brownies out of the pan.

STEP TWELVE: Cut into squares and serve.

STORAGE

IN THE FRIDGE: You can store your cut brownies in an airtight container on the counter at room temperature, or in the fridge. They are best if eaten within 2 to 3 days.

IN THE FREEZER: If you prefer to freeze your Cosmic Brownies, let them cool completely, then simply wrap them tightly in plastic wrap. Then in tin foil. Place them in the freezer for up to 3 months.
