SAUCE: You can use any brand of pizza sauce that you prefer for this casserole. Likewise, if you have a homemade pizza sauce recipe, that would work as well.

TOPPINGS: Feel free to add any of your favorite pizza toppings and get creative with this casserole. Some of our favorite additions are green peppers, mushrooms, green or black olives, and onions.

MEAT: If you are not a fan of pepperoni, you can switch it out for cooked ground beef or Italian sausage in this biscuit pizza bake.

CHEESE: To make your pizza casserole extra cheesy, add parmesan cheese or cheddar cheese along with the mozzarella.

RED PEPPER FLAKES: Sprinkling your casserole with a pinch of red pepper flakes is an optional addition that will give the dish a nice kick.
