Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My Lazy Cooking Bundle
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Tyson Foods, Inc. The opinions and text are all mine.
I love putting fun food ideas together and I love to have friends over. The two things work, you know? What makes it even better is when I get to partner with a brand and get compensated for trying their products! Case in point: Tyson® Foods offered for me to try their Tyson® Boneless Wyngz* —which is perfect for game day. It’s not one of life’s secrets that I am not really big on watching football but game day is the perfect excuse to hang out with friends. At least half of the group enjoys the game and everyone likes to eat.
Sam’s Club carries these Boneless Wyngz*, which by the way, contain no wing meat. They’re all white meat chicken with 0 grams of trans fat per serving and they’re an excellent source of protein: score! They are really tasty. Even my picky eaters LOVED them.
The Boneless Wyngz* are also perfect as star players on a MVP. (A what? Most Valuable Platter, aka Cute Party Food. I have a reputation to keep up!) Easy-to-eat finger foods are great for get togethers and the Boneless Wyngz* are perfect for bite-size, game day snacking. Shh! This “stadium” is actually a snap to put together.
While you’re waiting for the Boneless Wyngz* to bake, set up your “stadium”. First, here is my easy homemade guacamole recipe:
- 2 ripe avocados, mashed
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
I used a wood cutting board as the base for this game day snack display. Put a platter in the middle, making sure there’s enough room for arranging snacks around the edges. Put small cups of homestyle ranch dressing at each corner of the platter and stack carrot and celery sticks on end. I loaded my platter with my favorite guacamole sauce and piped sour cream yard lines on top.
Arrange the Boneless Wyngz* you baked according to their package directions around the “stadium” platter, serve and get ready for compliments.
Now isn’t that easy? Good food and good company. All you need to do is turn on the game and cheer!
