TURKEY TACO RING INGREDIENTS
You’ll need:
- 2 cans of crescent roll dough
- 2 cups shredded cooked turkey
- 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chilies
- ¼ cup water
- 1 package taco seasoning mix, or 3 tablespoons of homemade taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- lettuce and salsa for topping

You can bake your turkey breast in the oven, or in your Instant Pot, or use leftover turkey!
SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS
MIX-INS: You could also add whole kernel corn and/or black beans into the shredded turkey for a tasty way to add extra flavor!
OPTIONAL TOPPINGS: We love to serve this crescent roll taco ring with salsa, lettuce, green or black olives, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, diced tomatoes, or green onions.
CHEESE: Cheddar cheese is a classic choice but if you have another favorite type of cheese, you can use that instead. Or, use a cheese mixture with cheddar and another kind such as Monterey Jack or a spicy jalapeño.
HOW TO MAKE THIS TURKEY TACO RING RECIPE
STEP ONE: Preheat your oven to 375°F.
STEP TWO: In a large skillet, add the water, shredded turkey meat, green chilies and taco seasoning. Cook over medium heat for 5 to 7 minutes or until the turkey is reheated. Remove from heat and set aside.
STEP THREE: On an ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange crescent dough triangles in a ring so the short sides of the triangles form a 6-inch circle in the center. It’s okay if the bottoms of the triangles overlap.
PRO TIP:
Placing a small bowl in the center will help you arrange the crescent roll triangles.
STEP FOUR: Spoon turkey mixture over the wide section of the roll close to the center of ring.
STEP FIVE: Sprinkle cheese on top.
PRO TIP:
It’s best to grate cheese at home as pre-shredded cheese tends to be coated with an anti-caking agent that prevents it from melting completely.
STEP SIX: Fold triangle points up over the filling, tucking it under the bottom layer of dough to secure it.
STEP SEVEN: Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the ring turns a golden brown. Allow ring to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
STEP EIGHT: Place a bowl of salsa in the center of the ring for dipping. Garnish with shredded lettuce and any other favorite toppings, if desired.
HOW TO SERVE
I love to place a bowl of salsa in the middle of the ring for dipping. You can also garnish with shredded lettuce if desired. I also won’t say no to ooey-gooey cheese dip, homemade ranch crack dip, some cool sour cream, and creamy guacamole along with this!
