1poundground beef
1packagetaco seasoning
2cansrefrigerated crescent rolls
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
guacamole,optional topping
salsa,optional topping
shredded lettuce,optional topping
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil.
Add ground beef and taco seasoning, and cook until the meat has browned. Remove from the heat and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
On an ungreased large cookie sheet, arrange the crescent dough triangles in a ring, so the short sides of the triangles form a 6-inch circle in the center. The dough will overlap.
Spoon the ground beef over the wide section close to the center. Sprinkle cheese on top.
Bring each triangle tip up over filling, tucking it under bottom layer of dough to secure it.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until the ring turns golden brown.
Allow the ring to cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
Place a bowl of guacamole and salsa in the center of the ring for dipping.
Garnish with shredded lettuce, if desired.

Notes
It’s best to grate cheese at home as pre-shredded cheese tends to be coated with a preservative that prevents it from melting completely.
Placing a small bowl in the center of the dough ring would help you arrange the crescent roll triangles.
Oven temperatures vary and may need to be recalibrated periodically to ensure they are accurate. Make sure to check your taco ring at the lower end of the recommended baking time.
