Dessert Campfire Pizza
This campfire dessert pizza is a favorite for us because it’s so easy to customize. Every family member can choose their favorite toppings — the possibilities and flavor combinations are endless!
You can let your family go wild with creativity when it comes to toppings.
This is what we made ours with and it turned out absolutely delicious!
Dessert Campfire Pizza Ingredients you will need:
- Whole wheat or flour tortillas
- Peanut Butter (creamy or chunky)
- Strawberry jelly
- Chocolate chips (miniature or regular size)
- White chocolate chips
- Sliced strawberries
- Chopped peanuts
You’ll also need non-stick cooking spray and tin foil.
How to make a dessert campfire pizza
Place the tortilla onto a piece of foil.
Spread the tortilla with peanut butter.
Drop spoonfuls of jelly over the tortilla and spread it around over the peanut butter.
Add chocolate chips, sliced strawberries, chopped peanuts and white chocolate chips to the top of the pizza.
Place the piece of foil with the PB&J pizza on it onto the grate over the fire. Heat the pizza and watch it carefully to keep it from burning.
Remove from the fire and slice into serving pieces. Enjoy!
Cooking Tips:
The foil side that touches the grate will most likely be a little oily from the nonstick spray or dirty with ash when you remove it so be careful.
You can do the dessert pizzas in a disposable pie tin instead of foil. This way, you can also use the pie tin over and over.
Remember anything cooked over the open flame will be hot when removing, grill with care!
I hope your family enjoys this yummy campfire pizza on a camping trip soon!
