Ingredients
4largeflour tortillas(9½-inch tortillas)
⅔cupchocolate spread or Nutella
1sleevegraham crackers, broken into bite-size pieces
12snack-sizeHershey bars
4cupsmini marshmallows (1 cup per pizza)
Non-stick aluminum foil (2 sheets of foil per pizza and 1 large piece of foil for a “tent”)
Instructions
Build the campfire, then allow it to burn down to a nice bed of coals. Carefully place a grate over the coal bed.
Lay out 2 pieces of aluminum foil to cook each pizza on. Place 1 tortilla on top of the foil.
Using either a spoon or an offset spatula, spread 2½ tablespoons of chocolate spread or Nutella onto the tortilla, being careful to leave a small amount of tortilla edge un-coated.
Sprinkle ⅔ cup of graham crackers on top.
Break three of the snack-size Hershey’s bars into pieces. Sprinkle the broken bars on top of the graham cracker pieces.
Sprinkle 1 cup of mini marshmallows on top of the chocolate and graham cracker pieces. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
Place the dessert pizzas on the grate over the bed of coals. Be sure to keep the foil pieces under the pizzas.
Use the larger piece of foil to form a “tent” over the dessert pizzas.
At 4 to 6 minutes, carefully rotate the pizzas to help cook evenly.
Once the chocolate and marshmallows are gooey and melted, remove the dessert pizzas. Slice and serve while hot and melty.
Notes
You could do the dessert pizzas in a disposable pie tin instead of foil. This way, you can also use the pie tin over and over.
Remember, anything cooked over the open flame will be hot when removing, grill with care!
Non-stick foil is a great choice to cook the dessert pizzas on.
