Oreo Fluff Ingredients

- 4-ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoons clear vanilla flavoring
- 1 (3.4-ounce) cheesecake flavored instant pudding mix
- 1⅔ cup whole milk
- 1 (8-ounce) tub whipped topping, thawed
- 14.3-ounce package OREO cookies, crushed (reserve 8 whole cookies, with 5 broken in half, for garnish)
- 2½ cups mini marshmallows

You can substitute vanilla extract for the clear vanilla flavoring, if in a pinch, but it will cause the cream cheese mixture to be slightly beige in color.

It is actually best to make this easy salad recipe ahead of time. It gives the salad time to let all the flavors mingle and combine together for an even tastier fluff salad. Just remember though, that the cookies will get softer the longer it sits so don’t make it too far in advance.

I have absolutely no doubt that this is delicious. However, I don’t understand what you do with it. I mean, is it a frosting? Or is it considered a side dish?
Thank you. After I get your answer, I might substitute mint Oreos. Will this be a good idea to make for a bbq?
Layne Kangas says
Hi, Jeannette – this would be perfect for a BBQ or potluck. My kids eat with a spoon like a side dish, but you can also serve it with fruit or pretzels for dipping. Enjoy!
