CHRISTMAS CRUNCH RECIPE

There are many different Christmas crunch recipe variations.

The base is typically popcorn, along with pretzels. You can add in your favorite candy, sprinkles, cereal or even cookies.

The result is a great mix of sweet and salty flavors with a crunchy texture that is fun to munch on.

Not only is it perfect to make and eat, but I also love how festive it is!

We eat with our eyes first, and this bright and colorful dessert is no exception.

Let’s dive in!

CHRISTMAS CRUNCH INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Bags of popcorn made per package directions (about 10 cups)
  • Mini M&M’s Candy (Red & Green)
  • Peanut M&M’s Candy (Red & Green)
  • Sprinkles (Red & Green)
  • 1 cup of pretzels, broken in half
  • ¾ cup white chocolate candy melts
  • 6 Tablespoons of salted butter
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows

A box filled with different types of food, with Candy and Popcorn

HOW TO MAKE CHRISTMAS CRUNCH

Pop the popcorn bags per package instructions. Spread popped popcorn over  parchment paper on an 11 x 17 baking sheet.

In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat melt butter. Add mini marshmallows and white chocolate to butter mixture. Stir until melted and no lumps remain. Remove from heat.

Pour ¾ of the butter mixture over the popcorn. Toss to coat.

Pour the remaining butter mixture over the popcorn and sprinkle the Mini M&M’s Candy, Peanut M&M’s Candy, sprinkles, and the broken pretzels over the butter mixture.

Let cool completely before serving.

STORAGE

If you happen to have leftovers, store in an airtight container until you’re ready to eat again. You’ll want to keep it in a cool place so that the candies don’t melt.
