Substitutions And Additions
TEA: Typically, I tend to use an orange and black pekoe blend tea in this refreshing drink recipe. You can use caffeinated or decaffeinated tea.
If you’re looking to add something a little extra to your tea, you could use a flavored tea bag.
For example, if you used peach-flavored tea, you could have raspberry peach iced tea! It can be fun to get creative with this.
RASPBERRIES: I used frozen raspberries in creating this easy recipe, and it turned out so delicious!
You could also use fresh raspberries as well, and it would be just as good. Just be sure to freeze some of the fresh raspberries to use when serving your tea.
FRUIT: You could also use a different type of fruit in place of raspberries if you prefer. Peach, blueberry, orange, or strawberry-flavored iced teas tend to be some of the most popular.
You will want to follow the directions above using fresh or frozen fruit to make your flavored tea!

Storage
Here’s how you can store this delightful beverage to maintain its taste and quality.
MAKE AHEAD: If you’d like to prepare raspberry iced tea ahead of time, you can do so by following the recipe up until the point of adding ice and fresh raspberries.
Once the tea has cooled down to room temperature, transfer it to an airtight container and refrigerate.
When you’re ready to serve, simply add ice cubes and fresh raspberries to each glass.
This make-ahead option allows you to save time and still enjoy a chilled glass of raspberry iced tea.
IN THE FRIDGE: Be sure to use any leftover iced tea in the refrigerator. Generally speaking, for the best flavor, you’ll want to drink your raspberry iced tea within one day.
But, it will stay good in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days.
You can also store any unused raspberry syrup in the refrigerator in a jar for up to a month.
Just be sure not to add any extra fruit to the syrup to prevent fermentation or gas build-up.
IN THE FREEZER: This drink is best served right away, and we don’t recommend freezing it.

Hi, Robin – a family-size tea bag is equal to three single-serve tea bag size, so you’d want to triple them. Enjoy!
