This incredible cocktail combines equal parts of creaminess and spice. The milk and white hot chocolate give you a sweet and classic drink.

Adding both RumChata and Fireball whisky turns this drink into a tasty adult beverage with a spicy cinnamon kick.

You’ll need:

  • 1 cup of whole milk, warmed
  • 1.38-ounce packet of white chocolate hot cocoa mix
  • 1½ ounces of RumChata cream liqueur
  • ½ ounce of Fireball cinnamon whisky

PRO TIP:

RumChata is a creamy liqueur with cream, sugar, rum, cinnamon, and vanilla flavor. It is similar to Irish cream but with a cinnamon flavor.

For The Garnish:

  • ¼ cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • Squirt whipped topping
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

Substitutions and Additions

Whole Milk: 2% milk can be used for a slightly lighter version.

White Chocolate Hot Cocoa Mix: If you can’t find white chocolate hot cocoa mix, use classic hot chocolate mix instead. This will add a richer chocolate flavor, though it will alter the drink’s color.

RumChata: If RumChata isn’t available, try using an equal amount of Baileys Irish Cream for a similar creamy texture. Baileys adds a hint of chocolate and vanilla that complements the cinnamon notes, though it won’t have the exact cinnamon flavor.

You can also experiment with other cream liqueurs if you’re looking for unique flavors, like vanilla vodka for a different layer of sweetness.

Fireball Cinnamon Whisky: If you want to adjust the spice level, consider using cinnamon schnapps or cinnamon liquor instead of Fireball whiskey. These alternatives will still add warmth without as much of the spicy kick.

For a milder drink, reduce the amount of Fireball by half or try using bourbon with a dash of ground cinnamon for a more subtle spice.

Optional Additions:

  • Vanilla Extract: Add a drop or two of vanilla extract to the milk for an extra hint of sweetness and warmth. This addition works well if you’re aiming for a more dessert-like drink.
  • Shot of Espresso: For a caffeine boost, stir in a shot of espresso with the warm milk. It turns the cocktail into a coffee-inspired treat with depth and a hint of bitterness to balance the sweetness.

How To Make This Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cocktail Recipe

It only takes a few minutes to make this delightful drink, so let’s get started, and before you know it, you’ll be sipping away.

STEP ONE: You will need a large (16-ounce) glass mug for this cocktail. To garnish your glass mug, add the ¼ cup milk to a shallow dish.

In a separate shallow dish, stir together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Dip the top rim of your glass into the milk, then into the cinnamon sugar mixture. Set aside.

OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

If your glass mug is slightly smaller than the one used in this recipe, that is fine. You just don’t want any smaller than a 12-ounce mug.

You will need to note that if a smaller mug is used, you will not fit as much of the whipped topping in the mug as what is used for this creamy cocktail.

STEP TWO: Add the whole milk to a microwave-safe bowl with a pour spout (a 2-cup glass liquid measure cup works well) and microwave for 1½-2 minutes.

Add the white chocolate hot cocoa powder mix to the warm milk and whisk to dissolve the white chocolate cocoa powder fully.

STEP THREE: Add the Rum Chata cream liqueur and Fireball whisky to the warm white hot chocolate. Whisk to combine fully.

STEP FIVE: Squirt a generous amount of the whipped topping onto the cocktail and sprinkle a few of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal pieces onto the top of the whipped topping.

You can crush the cinnamon toast crunch cereal and sprinkle it onto the whipped topping as a garnish if you are not fond of the larger pieces.
