Chick Fil A Lemonade Ingredients

Chick Fil A Lemonade (Frosted) raw ingredients that are labeled

You’ll need:

  • 1⅓ cups freshly squeezed lemon juice (6 large lemons)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup VERY cold water
  • 6 cups vanilla bean ice cream
  • 4 to 5 drops of yellow food coloring (optional)
  • 4 sliced lemons (optional garnish)

PRO TIP:

When fresh lemons are on sale at the grocery store, buy a bag full of them and juice them. You can freeze lemon juice in ice cube trays so that you always have fresh juice on hand.

SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS

LEMON JUICE: You can substitute bottled lemon juice for freshly squeezed in this easy copycat recipe. It will not have the same fresh taste as real lemon juice, but it will do in a pinch.

LEMONADE: You can substitute thawed frozen lemonade concentrate for the lemon juice. Depending on how sweet the brand of concentrate is, you will need to reduce the amount of sugar to at least ¼ to ⅓ cup.

FRUIT: You can add other fresh fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries, to your homemade lemonade.

This easy recipe can be prepared and kept in the fridge. Once you are ready to enjoy it, blend it with the ice cream and serve.
