Fudgy mini brownies are just as delicious as full-sized brownies, but in a much more convenient form.

Their creamy texture and decadent flavors make them irresistible – the perfect combination of sweetness and richness.

They have an indulgent, chocolatey taste that will satisfy any craving. Plus, since they come in miniature sizes, you don’t have to worry about overindulging!

You’ll need:

  • 1¼ cups of granulated sugar
  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

Substitutions and Additions

CHOCOLATE CHIPS: You can substitute the chocolate chips with white chocolate baking chips, toffee chips, or cinnamon chips for a spicy treat in this brownie bite recipe.

FROSTING: You can turn these little bites into frosted brownie bites by using the frosting recipe from our lunch lady brownie recipe.

Just prepare the frosting and use an offset spatula to frost the brownies after they have cooled and been removed from the mini muffin pan.

How To Make This Brownie Bites Recipe

These irresistible fudgy little bites are super easy to make. Once you make the brownie batter, divide it in a mini muffin tin and bake. Once they are cooled, you can dig in.

STEP ONE: Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare a mini muffin pan by spraying each well with cooking spray.

OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

If you are worried about the brownies sticking to the muffin pan, you can use parchment paper liners.

STEP TWO: In a medium bowl, whisk together sugar, butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until the sugar is no longer grainy. This may take up to five minutes by hand.

STEP FIVE: Bake brownie bites for 18 to 21 minutes. Let cool slightly in the pan before unmolding.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I eat these warm or cold?

This mini brownie bites recipe is best eaten at room temperature or slightly warmed.

Can I make these homemade brownie bites ahead of time and freeze them?

Yes! Just store them in an airtight container or a freezer bag. You can take out just what you need for the day. Another idea is to pop a frozen brownie bite into a lunch bag, and it should be defrosted by lunchtime.

Why are my brownies hard?

Brownies harden up if they are in the oven too long. For brownies, it’s better to slightly underbake them than to overbake them.
