  • 1 (8-ounce) package of cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups of strawberry banana yogurt
  • 1 (8-ounce) container of whipped topping, thawed
  • 4 cups of fresh strawberries, washed, tops removed, hulled, and quartered (reserve ½ cup for garnish)
  • 2½ cups of ripe bananas, peeled and sliced (just before you are ready to serve, reserve ½ cup for garnish)

Substitutions And Additions

YOGURT: If you cannot find strawberry banana yogurt, you can substitute strawberry yogurt or vanilla yogurt in this creamy strawberry banana salad.

MIX-INS: You can add other fresh berries to the salad, such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and even grapes.

How To Make This Strawberry Banana Cheesecake Salad Recipe

Once you mix up the cheesecake dressing, you can carefully mix it with the fruit. Don’t forget to give your salad a bit of time to chill in the fridge before serving.

STEP ONE: Using a large bowl and an electric mixer on medium-high speed, beat the softened cream cheese for 1 to 1½ minutes until smooth.

STEP TWO: Add the sugar and vanilla, and continue beating for 1½ to 2 minutes until well incorporated.

STEP THREE: Fold in the yogurt and whipped topping until thoroughly combined. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

PRO TIP:

You can allow the cream cheese mixture to chill in the refrigerator overnight before adding the fresh fruit.

STEP FOUR: Just before you are ready to serve, gently fold in the 3½ cups of sliced strawberries and two cups of sliced bananas.

Garnish with reserved strawberries and sliced bananas.
