ORANGE SHERBET PUNCH INGREDIENTS
You’ll need:
- 1 (12-ounce) can of frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
- One 2-liter bottle lemon-lime soda, chilled
- 1 can (46 ounces) pineapple juice, chilled
- 1-quart tub of orange sherbet
SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS
SOFT DRINKS: Instead of using a liter of Sprite or 7UP lemon lime soda, your favorite brand of ginger ale would be a great option for a unique and different flavor. Or make your punch flavor orange to the max using orange soda.
JUICE: Some people use Hawaiian punch instead of juice. I prefer the tropical taste of the juice, but it’s always fun to experiment!
SHERBET: For the holidays, instead of orange sherbet, you could use cranberry or raspberry sherbet, which will make a lovely pink-colored punch. What about a rainbow sherbet punch?
ICE CREAM: For a bit more fun, add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream along with the sherbet to make a creamsicle-type punch.
ALCOHOL: You could also add champagne to this fizzy drink for a fun twist.
GARNISH: In addition to the floating sherbet, you could add orange slices to float on top as well!
HOW TO MAKE THIS ORANGE SHERBET PUNCH RECIPE
STEP ONE: Start by preparing the orange juice according to the package instructions. In a large punch bowl pour the mixed orange juice.
PRO TIP
To keep your punch cold for a longer period of time, you could freeze some orange juice in ice cube trays so that as it melts, the punch doesn’t get watered down.
STEP TWO: Stir in chilled soda and pineapple juice.
STEP THREE: Float scoops of sherbet on top of the punch.
STEP FOUR: Serve immediately — it’s lovely with the orange sherbet scoops floating inside. As the sherbet melts, it will create a yummy, creamy foam that is so tasty as well!
PRO TIP
Set up a tray of fancy glasses with fun and colorful paper straws to make your delicious drink extra fun.

Do you have any idea how much I should multiply this recipe to serve 150 people? I have 9oz cups.
Layne Kangas says
Oh goodness, that is a lot. So I Googled and the recommendation for 150 people is up to 18 gallons. There are 4 quarts in a gallon and this recipe makes 5 quarts. So I would make this recipe 14-15 times based on those estimates. However, if you’re having other drinks, etc. you definitely might not want to make that much. But you could use the same math to figure out the correct size for your gathering. Good luck and enjoy!
