What a fun way to be invited to a pool party!
The dessert table created in honor of the celebration is eye-catching and budget-friendly. Recreate the look by using brightly colored plastic tablecloths to cover the tabletop and to create a backdrop.
Add bright paper balls from the ceiling, plastic blow-up surf boards and a colorful beach umbrella to set the scene for an awesome dessert display.
Include a few summer themed props like pineapples, coconuts and flip-flop themed serving dishes.
To get creative with serving the food, plastic sand buckets with shovels provide the perfect display.
Glass jars were an easy way to display bright candy varieties. And did you see the mini white folding beach chairs? How perfect are they for serving individually wrapped treats?
I love the mini pails stacked at the table’s edge, too. Guests could easily fill them up with their favorite treats.
Of course, the beach ball cake and mini umbrella topped cupcakes made for some awesome pool party desserts.
A kid-sized table and chairs were available for small guests who wanted to take a break from playing in the water to enjoy some food. The menu included munching on classic BBQ while listening to a Mickey Mouse “Beach Boys” themed music CD. Kid cool!
