There are so many incredible details that it’s hard to decide which aspect of the safari birthday party to start with first. The entire backyard party space looks like it was taken from the pages of a wild animal safari park brochure.
A variety of natural, outdoor, and safari-inspired decorations combined to create an amazing atmosphere. We love the elephant statue and are personally obsessed with the animal food dispenser. It looks exactly like the dispensers you find at a petting zoo.
To prepare guests for the upcoming safari tour, a visit to the safari shop was in order. (See more outdoor party games.) Young adventurers could stock up on essential gear and supplies before rolling out on their jeep-lead tour. Notice the adorable child-size jeep with the custom “Seth’s Safari Tours” label. Genius!
There were pith-style helmets and binoculars…
canteens of water and disposable cameras…
insect repellant…
personalized tour passes…
…and custom brochures with all the tour details. Sign me up! This party looks like so much fun!
All the excitement of a safari tour can take a lot out of a little person. To refuel and rehydrate guests, Rochelle styled an impressive Safari Sweet Shop full of stylish desserts.
A burlap tablecloth topped with a greenery-inspired overlay gave way to potted green plants, animal cutouts, and statues, plus a reed fence. We love Rochelle’s use of a canopy to provide that sweet shop look. Inspired by the invitation, the four-layered birthday cake by Little Wish Cakes was an airbrushed masterpiece! Just look at that safari sunset.
Traditional party fare in Rochelle’s part of the world included orange jelly pots, macarons, chocolate mousse pots, and cake pops.
There were even custom-wrapped chocolate bars from “Seth’s Safari Tours”. Guests could fill their safari tour sweet bags with the candy treats of their choice (jelly beans and such).
To curb little adventurers’ thirst, mini milk bottles of chocolate milk were served. Notice the custom beverage wraps and paper straws topped with party flags.
We highly doubt any attendee at this safari birthday party wanted it to end. What a fabulous birthday adventure!
