Party styling inspiration can come from the simplest of places. Would you believe the darling Barnyard birthday banner was the main jumping-off point for this celebration? The cow and gingham print paired so adorably with the farm animal graphics and provided an easy way to tie in many great barnyard props, décor, and treats.
Always a highlight at birthday parties, this barnyard dessert table was home to a wagonload of cute ideas. Backed with cloud paper reminiscent of the out-of-doors, the table was a bright, happy mix of treats and party favors.
Refreshments were kept to a few simple treats, perfect for one-year-olds. What better than a jar of animal crackers for little appetites? To wash down those perfect bite-sized snacks, “Moo Juice” (milk) was served. Tara wrapped up organic strawberry milk with moo paper. What a sweet idea!
More barnyard animals were invited to the party in the guise of cow and pig lollipops. Because a barnyard party needs a whole herd of farm animals, cupcakes were decorated to look like cows, ducks, and pigs.
The detailing on each cupcake by Creative Cuisine by Carrie is darling, Our favorites are the pigs. Don’t miss that pig cake (also by Carrie).
The sweetest little felt barn bags with a printable thank-you tag made perfect party favors.
If you love the dessert table, you’ll want to check out the darling party tables too. Tara capitalized on the “farm fresh” ideology and created a gorgeous table set up with fresh flowers and apples as centerpieces. Metal buckets set atop hay bales from the local craft store really brought the look home.
Place settings consisted of cow print paper placemats, red plates, blue utensil wraps, and cowboy hats—yeehaw!
Just when you thought the level of barnyard cuteness couldn’t go any higher, these make-your-own farm animal balloons show up. What a fabulous activity, simple enough for little guests. Celebrating your child’s first birthday with a barnyard bash looks like a lot of fun. Old MacDonald would be proud!
