Never Think About What to Make for Dinner for the Next Two Months with My Lazy Cooking Bundle
Completely darling and irresistible, these reindeer pretzels are the best treat to make this holiday season. Salty pretzels get a melted Rolo chocolate on top, before being given an M&M’S nose and googly eyes. You can’t help but smile with these little guys around.

Reindeer Pretzels
I am absolutely obsessed with these cute little reindeer pretzels.
I mean. LOOK at their faces. I cannot. They are so darling!
Not only is this little adorable holiday snack lots of fun to make, but it’s also delicious as well.
They’re tasty, with an addictive mix of salty and sweet you’ll love.
It will only take you about 10 minutes to put them together, making them a perfect recipe to make with your kids.

Ingredients to Make Reindeer Pretzels
- 40 mini pretzels, divided (plus a few more in case of breakage)
- 20 Rolos
- 20 small round red chocolate candy of any kind
- 40 candy eyes
Variation Ideas
You could also use Hershey’s kisses instead of Rolos.
I used red M&M’S to create their noses, but you could certainly use red hots or another small red candy. You could also use peanut M&M’S if you want a larger nose. You could also try another flavor of M&M’S like peanut butter or caramel.
I’ve also seen people use cookies, graham crackers, Nutter Butters, or gingerbread to build a reindeer face on.
I think this option with pretzels is the best because they look like antlers!

How to Make Reindeer Pretzels
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Unwrap the Rolos and set aside.
Separate half of the pretzels and spread one half on the baking sheet.
With the remaining half of the pretzels cut them in half and these will be used for the antlers. Set aside.
Pro tip: you will need some extra because some will break.
To the pretzels on the baking sheet place one unwrapped Rolo on top of each pretzel over the single round part of the pretzel.
Put the baking sheet into the oven and bake for 2-3 minutes or until the Rolo has gotten soft and melty.
Remove the baking pan and add the nose which is the red candy to the bottom center of the Rolo pushing down gently on the Rolo as you add the candy.
Add the antlers by sticking the pretzels onto each side at the top of each Rolo.
Add the edible candy eyes right above the red nose.
Let them cool to solidify and enjoy!
Variation Idea
If you want to skip making antlers… which you really shouldn’t because they are SO CUTE. 😉
But if you’re crunched on time, you could also make Rudolph noses: leave the pretzel whole, then melt the Rolo on top, then press a red M&M on top.
Storing Reindeer Pretzels
You could wrap up these cute little guys to gift a neighbor or to take to a classroom party for your kids.
You should store them in a cool, dry place in an airtight container to keep them fresh and looking good.
Psst… you should totally make this magical reindeer food for Christmas Eve as well. Your kids will love spreading it on the lawn for Rudolph and his friends!
