- 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, divided in half
- 2½ cups of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 5 ounces of pepperoni slices
- Pinch of red pepper flakes, optional

SAUCE: You can use any brand of pizza sauce that you prefer for this casserole. Likewise, if you have a homemade pizza sauce recipe, that would work as well.
