Cookie Dough Dip
This fun and tasty cookie dough dip is a quick and simple no-bake dessert that is a favorite for us, especially in the summer. It’s so easy to make, it’s perfect for kids to help with, too.
This edible cookie dough dip recipe is made without eggs so there is no fear of eating it raw.
This homemade recipe is made with cream cheese, brown sugar, mini chocolate chips, and butter all blended together to make a delish dip. It’s also gluten-free.
It’s an excellent option for warm summer evenings when you want a delicious dessert but don’t want to turn on the oven.
Cookie Dough Dip Ingredients you will need:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 2T brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 T vanilla
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
You could also experiment with other flavors: it would be yummy with peanut butter or mint stirred in as well.
How to Make Cookie Dough Dip
Use an electric mixer to cream together butter, cream cheese, brown sugar, salt, and vanilla.
Once combined, add heavy whipping cream, and beat until light and fluffy, about one minute.
Next, gently mix in powdered sugar until just combined. Then, fold in chocolate chips.
If you aren’t serving immediately, you can pop into the fridge. It will get a harder consistency instead of creamy. I would suggest setting it out to warm up for 10-15 minutes if you’d like it more creamy after refrigerating.
What to Serve with Cookie Dough Dip
You can serve with graham crackers, vanilla cookies, oatmeal cookies, or fruit. You could also eat it with a spoon. 😉 It’s THAT good!
I put the chocolate chip cookie dough dip in a bowl, surrounded by the treats for dipping on a platter, to make for easy serving.
I think it’s also tasty served alongside something salty, like pretzels. Sweet and salty together is the best combo!
Can I Freeze Cookie Dough Dip?
You can — just be sure to put it inside a freezer safe container. You’ll want to thaw in the fridge until it’s soft, and then leave on the counter for a few minutes to return to a creamy texture.
