How To Make This Cheeseburger Pie Recipe

Let’s walk through the step-by-step instructions for making this delicious cheeseburger pie.

OUR RECIPE DEVELOPER SAYS

Ground beef and onions can be batch cooked ahead of time and stored in the fridge or freezer to use later. This is a great time-saver.

STEP ONE: Preheat your oven to 400°F.

STEP TWO: Spray an 8-inch pie pan with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside.

STEP THREE: In a large skillet, cook beef, onions, salt, pepper, and onion powder over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any extra fat.

We recommend using a potato masher to help break up the ground beef.

I have used an old fashioned potato masher to cook hamburger for 64 years!! I LOVE IT it also works very well for stirring!

Thank you, my family LOVES this! I add diced dill pickles because my kids say it is not a burger without pickles. I also zig zag ketchup and mustard over the top to make it look pretty. The best part is that this is easy to make low carb by eliminating the baking mix and increasing the eggs.
