Ingredients
1poundground beef
½cuponion,diced
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
½teaspoononion powder
2cupscheddar cheese,shredded and divided in half
2eggs
½cupBisquick
¾cupmilk
1teaspoongarlic salt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Spray an 8-inch pie pan with nonstick spray.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onions, salt, pepper, and onion powder over medium heat until the meat is browned and the onions are translucent. Drain any extra fat.
Place half of the meat mixture in the prepared pie pan.
Sprinkle 1 cup of the cheddar cheese over the meat.
Top with the remaining ground beef.
Place the remaining 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top of the meat mixture.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, Bisquick, milk, and garlic salt until fairly smooth. It’s okay if it has a few lumps.
Pour the mixture over the meat pie.
Bake for 25 minutes or until a tester or knife inserted comes out clean.

Notes
Ground beef and onions can be batch cooked ahead of time and stored in the fridge or freezer to use later. This is a great time-saver.
We recommend using a potato masher to help break up the ground beef.
Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds to mimic a sesame seed bun with your cheeseburger pie.
