Main Ingredients: Milk chocolate chips, caramel bits, peanuts, peanut butter, powdered sugar.

Total Time & Yield: 45 minutes, yields 12 cups.

Why This Recipe

  • While many similar recipes use ingredients like marshmallow creme or nougat fillings, ours focuses on maintaining the core flavors of Snickers—chocolate, caramel, peanuts, and peanut butter—without the added complexity of nougat layers.
  • This results in a treat that’s rich and satisfying without unnecessary steps, making it ideal for busy bakers or casual candy makers.
  • In contrast to other recipes that melt multiple layers of nougat and caramel over the stove or incorporate heavy cream, this version streamlines the process by sticking to basic, easy-to-find ingredients like caramel bits and peanut butter, ensuring the same indulgent flavor with minimal effort.
  • Additionally, this recipe uses powdered sugar in the peanut butter layer, which gives a creamy, smooth texture that complements the crunchy peanuts and rich caramel. This sets it apart from those that rely on just melted chocolate or peanut butter without the extra sweetness and structure powdered sugar brings.
  • In short, our recipe strikes the perfect balance between authentic Snickers flavors and a simplified process, allowing you to enjoy homemade candy without the fuss..
