Building a birthday party theme around your core party activities is a great idea. Christi, of P is for Party, shows us how to do just that in this awesome sing-a-long celebration she planned for her son’s third birthday. Styled in shades of navy blue and Kelly green, her son’s monogram paired perfectly with the preppy party decorations and printables you see throughout Christi’s styling. A darling monogrammed door sign greets guests at the front door. We love it when party excitement starts right at the doorstep.
Inside, Christi prepped an adorable party space. Tables are dressed in handsome blue tablecloths and green polka-dotted runners, sewn by the guest of honor’s grandmother.
White snack boxes are embellished with green ribbon and #3 circle labels, paying tribute to the guest of honor’s new age. Don’t you know kids would be instantly curious? They hold macarons and squeezable applesauce pouches in coordinating party colors.
A variety of sandwiches are wrapped in blue and green patterned paper—looks great for the party and makes it less messy for young guests.
Add sticker monograms to spruce up simple white plates. So stylish! It’s a simple way to add personalization and turn an ordinary plate into party décor.
Thumbs up to using party horns and kazoos as centerpiece displays. They’re perfect instruments for accompanying a small-fry sing-a-long. You know it will get loud, but that’s the point!
Christi stacks white boxes for a temporary cupcake stand. Simple and effective. Cupcakes are wrapped in a patterned blue and green wrappers to match the rest of the décor. Party guests enjoy being led in singing silly songs and playing games, thanks to Christi’s friend, a preschool choir and music teacher.
Toy microphones are a hit with this age group, making them perfect thank-you take-homes. What a unique and delightful way to celebrate a little one’s birthday party!
