Provide plenty of camping themed food and desserts.
Have fun!
Sara invited her guests to “Camp Tyler” via darling printable invitations, which she designed.
Guests were greeted on the porch by a “welcome campers” sign. I love the marshmallow roaster—what a creative touch. Apple baskets were filled with water thermos bottles, definitely a camping (and party) must-have.
Out back, a tent was in place with festive pennant flags to set the camp party scene.
A dessert bar was readied on a plaid fabric-covered table against the back of the house. A “Camp Tyler” banner hung from the siding.
Guests were treated to a s’mores building station, created by using a triple-tiered stand filled with all the fixins’ for those favored marshmallow + chocolate + graham cracker treats.
Because you can never have enough treats, Sara also displayed a Texas chocolate cake and s’mores brownie pops, both made by Little Miss Sweet Tooth.
How cute is that mini camping scene on top of the cake?
Cupcakes were party ready with printable camp themed toppers.
Macaroons were also on hand to curb guests’ hankering for something sweet.
I love how the scattered pinecones, fire burned log, and lantern helped bring an outdoorsy camping vibe to the display.
Camp food is the best, isn’t it? Sara set up an amazing array of food for guests to nibble.
Trail mix cones, campfire chili, and plenty of dogs and condiments are great for a backyard weenie roast.
Guests kept busy roasting marshmallows, competing against each other in a nature hunt and playing flashlight tag.
This is just the kind of summer party that invites laughter and laid back satisfaction! S’mores anyone?
