Breakfast is almost always a rushed experience at our house. Though breakfast is supposed to be the most important meal of the day, it’s often difficult to make sure everyone is starting their day off right with a hearty breakfast.
I’ve found some great make ahead breakfast ideas that will change the morning rush routine (hooray!). Save precious moments in the morning by preparing these breakfast meals ahead of time and simply finish them up when you’re ready to eat.
You’ll appreciate having extra time in the morning and knowing you’re sending the crew off well-fed and fortified for their day!

1. Freezer Smoothies

Start your day off with a delicious berry smoothie. Simply make and freeze yogurt ahead of time. Just place yogurt in baggies with strawberries and bananas and place in the freezer until ready to use. In the morning when you’re ready for your smoothie, remove from freezer, just add milk and baggie ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!
