Watermelon Cocktail Recipe Substitutions And Additions
VODKA: If you can not find watermelon-flavored vodka, then a good quality standard vodka will work in this sweet cocktail.
I found many different brands of vodka make flavor-infused varieties, so your favorite brand will work great.
WATERMELON JUICE: If you can not find the bottled version of fresh watermelon juice at the grocery store, you can cube up a seedless watermelon (during watermelon season) and puree the watermelon cubes until it is a smooth juice.
I suggest pouring the watermelon puree through a strainer to remove any pulp before using it to make this cocktail.
Since fresh watermelon may be hard to find year-round, the bottled watermelon juice makes this an easy and refreshing cocktail to enjoy all year long.
