You’ll enjoy all the delicious flavors with the best burger ever!
I’m excited to partner with Mirum to bring you this yummy idea!
I completely adore summer.
We live in Michigan where summertime is way too short.
So when summer arrives, I rejoice.
The long, sunshine filled days. The slower pace. The shorter to do list. The extra time with family.
This summer is no exception.
We’ve had quite a few adventures to the lake and down the river on our kayaks, which have been wonderful.
But nothing can compete with the lazy evenings we’ve enjoyed in our own backyard over the last few weeks.
I love our backyard: there is a big tree that provides glorious shade, there are beautiful, bright flowers and the perfect amount of grass to dance barefoot in.
There is nothing that compares to a summer evening spent in the backyard with delicious food and my favorite people.
It’s a magic all it’s own.
The busyness during the rest of the year can wear you down, so these summer evenings spent together are a recharge for my heart.
I adore seeing my boy’s imaginations come alive as they play during these backyard evenings. We share plenty of laughs together. We have dance parties. (We love the Real Backyard Fun Hosted By Hellman’s Pandora Station for our dancing).
And the food.
Oh, the food.
Most the meals we eat during the summer are made on the grill.
I love the unique flavor this creates, the ease of preparation and of course: not heating up the kitchen.
When we grill, I take all the ingredients outside on a big platter and then sit down to play with the boys or read a book while things cook.
I love how simple it is and how great the flavors are for these awesome homemade meals.
A go to recipe we all love? The very best hamburger.
Today I’m going to share a not-so-secret ingredient that makes the best burgers that your family will love just as much as we do.
I love a good hamburger.
It’s a favorite for me year round, but there is something extra special about the hamburgers we enjoy during these lazy summer nights in the backyard, hot off the grill.
So let’s talk about the best burger recipe around! And of course, that “secret” ingredient. 😉
Best Burger Ingredients
For this meal, you’ll need extra lean ground beef, Hellmann’s® Mayonnaise, green leaf lettuce, a red tomato, Hellmann’s® REAL Ketchup, a red onion and whole wheat hamburger buns.
Of course, you can always vary the toppings to your liking.
You can get creative with the flavors and there is a lot of versatility.
One of my little guys doesn’t like onions… but mama on the other hand wants all the onions, please.
This is my standard go to for serving though.
I think you’ll be pleased with how delicious the crisp, fresh flavors are and how amazing the hamburger turns out.
How to Make the Best Burger
This delicious, easy recipe is amazing!
To start, combine the extra lean ground beef with a tablespoon of Hellmann’s® Mayonnaise in a bowl. Once mixed, shape into four patties.
During the summer, we use the grill. You can also broil until done. Either way, they’re yummy!
Spread the remaining Mayonnaise on the bun bottoms. Then top with greens, tomatoes and hamburgers. Top with Hellmann’s® REAL Ketchup, red onion and the top bun.
You could also add cheese if you so desire.
This recipe makes the best burger you’ll ever make at home.
It’s so juicy and full of flavor. The toppings are so fresh and tasty.
You’ll love how it tastes and it’ll become a favorite — especially on those magical backyard summer evenings!
