Instant Pot pulled Pork:
My dear friend lives in Texas, and any time I head down for a visit, I can’t wait to eat all the Southern BBQ. It’s so delicious that I crave it all the time. Pulled pork sliders with extra barbecue poured on top is my favorite.
Today, I’ll be sharing a simple homemade Instant Pot pulled pork that you’ll love creating at home — it’s the best. It’s so easy and quick to make and offers a great big flavor along with tender, juicy shredded pork.
With a little help from the Instant Pot, you’ll have a meal on your hands that is a great option for a busy weeknight dinner or take along to a potluck.
If you’re doing keto and looking for a healthy version, you can keep this low-carb by omitting the sugar and leaving it off the buns. You could also use the Instant Pot to cook your pork loin and make carnitas for tacos instead of adding barbecue sauce. Everyone loves this easy crockpot shredded beef as well. The possibilities are endless!

Instant Pot Pulled Pork Cooking Time
Press Manual, set to High pressure for 1 hour. Allow to naturally release for 10 minutes.
Carefully release any remaining pressure by turning the valve to venting.
More Tips for making Instant Pot Pulled Pork:
Remove cooked pork to a cutting board and shred. I prefer to use two large forks.
While shredding, reduce the remaining liquid in the instant pot by half by turning on the saute function and simmering for approximately 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the pork back to remaining liquid, stir well to combine, then serve on buns.
How to Reheat
If you happen to have leftovers, you can heat it on the stove, in the microwave, or the oven easily without drying it out.
Be sure to save the leftover sauce and warm it with the sauce to keep the meat juicy and moist.
You’ll love how delicious and easy this Instant Pot pulled pork is!
