This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Glad, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #pressnsealhacks

Are you hosting any summer themed parties this season? Whether it’s a boy’s birthday party, a baby shower or even a fun friend get-together, sending guests home with a remembrance of your occasion is a gracious idea. I think these “scoops of sunshine” favors would be a great way to say “thanks for coming”. Scroll down for instructions and the free party favor tag printable to make your own!

I had the idea for these scoops so while I was at Walmart last time, I picked up yellow candy (jelly beans, lemon drops, gold foil-wrapped chocolates) and the Glad Press’n Seal. I was out the door, ready to make some party sunshine.

Unique Party Favor Idea

I had never used Glad Press’n Seal before. I don’t know why. I guess we all have our favorite familiar products and then just mindlessly keep buying the same thing. Glad Press’n Seal is FANTASTIC! It will be a staple in my household now. I’m already imagining lots of uses for this stuff.

This favor is easy to put together. Fill the scoop with your candy choices. You could even include small trinkets.

Pull out a piece of the Press’n Seal and position it over the scoop. You just stretch it and it sticks beautifully. It stays where you put it. Run your finger along the edge of the scoop. You don’t have to press hard and you can reposition the piece if you need to.

Add the favor tag. I liked using the chenille for a bow—it seems kinda fun—but ribbon or twine would work, too.

You’re done! Wasn’t that easy? Imagine an arrangement of these in a colorful bucket, a basket or on the dessert table. Looks terrific! Your guests will love receiving something they can enjoy immediately and they’ll still have the scoop to use a dozen different ways—thinking of you every time!
