Bright shades of green paired nicely with understated tones of browns and other neutrals for this shower.  While adorable bows and embellishments added a sophisticated and coordinated look, much of the décor consisted of more rustic elements, like the side table and the large display case used to cleverly feature desserts. Aren’t those oversized letters spelling out “peanut” a stylish addition to the front of the table?  I always love when a theme is so well executed.  Flavia incorporated such sweet props, like the elephant topiary over a peanut topped dessert. Little piles of peanuts were great exclamation points!

The dessert table did not disappoint.  The astonishing menu included gorgeous pistachio meringues, gooey peanut brownies and even homemade marshmallows!  I love how many of the desserts coordinated either aesthetically with the chosen color palette, with the theme, or both!  In addition, Toblerone mousse, honey cookies, and caramel peanut popcorn were served. And to round out the dessert selections, enticing chocolate and caramel coconut bites and caramel French macarons with caramel ganache centers were prepared.  Not to be overshadowed by the other amazing choices, a lovely 2-tiered ruffled cake sat on top of a pretty green cake plate.  The floral topper—perfect!  Are you drooling yet?  The sweet printable menu looked amazing as part of the display and it also gave guests a glimpse of the delectable options available for tasting.

Not only did Flavia prepare an impressive menu, but the presentation of each dessert was impeccable.  The caramel corn was displayed in attractive neutral dessert cups, sweetly embellished with elephant themed toppers and gingham ribbon. Individual dessert jars were the most excellent choice for the Toblerone mousse.  I am smitten with the styling!  Notice the perfect ombre layers, the cute little peanut affixed to the fronts and the festive pom pom style accents.  I bet every layer was delicious, especially the top with the Toblerone shavings!

Flavia’s dessert presentation wasn’t limited to her tabletop; it also extended to a lower shelf on the side table.  A large glass jar housed peanuts—perfect, right? Peanut bags were handy for easy filling and munching.  More caramel corn was served in a beautiful milk glass candy dish. Peanut favor bags were lined up with precision and topped off with an adorable elephant tag, attached via clothespin.  Water bottles were spruced with custom labels, poms and fantastic elephant scalloped tags.  Every detail was just delightful!

To tie in with the “little peanut” theme, Flavia prepared a creative guest activity station.  Each guest was invited to write on cute, printable cards to leave the guest of honor with advice for raising her little peanut.  What a fun activity for guests and a great keepsake for mom!
