The dessert table design included an awesome black motocross biker decal, which provided a cool backdrop for refreshments. The arrow garland on a classic white desk was a great way to add guy-friendly festivity, without being too frilly.
The guest of honor’s name was spelled out in big, black 3-D letters—a super way to add personalization to any party. Black dot confetti popped against the white tabletop, which was full to the brim with theme-coordinating treats. Black and white chevron favor bags were ready for easy filling.
One of my personal favorites on the dessert table is the cake, served on a black cake stand. We love the simplicity of the white cake, accented with black fondant tire tread. The custom motocross cake topper was an awesome choice for reinforcing the theme.
We love the modern and hip feel of the acrylic cake pop stand used to display the coolest helmet cake pops. Various glass vases and jars were great choices for displaying black and white candy and suckers.
White platters provided a neutral backdrop for a variety of delicious-looking sweets, including black and white meringues, motocross-themed sugar cookies, white powdered donuts, and other yummy choices. Coca-Cola was the beverage of choice and of course, looked great with the monochromatic color scheme. A framed motocross photo added a final touch to complete the table.
Another fun choice I’m sure party guests enjoyed was the cotton candy—it looked like dust clouds left behind by speeding riders!
Kristie added fun accents like tires and a circle garland to bump up party energy. We like how she utilized a storage cubby to graphically display props (like a helmet) as well as coordinate PopRoc party products: plates, cups, napkins, and straws. Even simple motocross coloring pages contributed to the black-and-white display.
Guests enjoyed celebrating with a piñata by Party Pony Piñata. Piñatas are such a great way to let guests get a little energy out, aren’t they? Simple and monochromatic doesn’t mean boring as Kristie proved with well-chosen details, making this clean-lined party perfect for any motocross-loving boy, big or small!
