Review PostEasy Homemade Slime
Table of Contents
Easy homemade slime is a fun summer project.
I discovered something surprising about my four and five-year-old boys this week. It happened after we made this easy slime recipe. More on that in a minute. First, I want to tell you I’m part of the Mom It Forward Influencer Network and thank O-Cedar for sponsoring this post and maybe changing my life!
Because of those too-hot-to-play outside summer days I’m always looking for inside fun to divert my boys. I gotta admit I’ve passed up some activities because they look like more of a mess than I want to deal with.
Those are the days I don’t feel like Mom of the Year.
But this week we made an easy slime recipe. I let my boys sit right on the floor and get into it. They thought it was great! They loved mixing the sticky goo and watching it turn to slime.
They discovered some of their small action figures and LEGO guys like to play with slime, too.
I was kind of dreading cleaning up the mess.
Stephanie had already told me about the EasyWringTM Spin Mop & Bucket System. When her Mike retired and became a stay-at-home dad, one of the chores he took over is mopping the floor.
He’d heard good things about the EasyWringTM Spin Mop & Bucket System and decided to buy it because it’s engineered with the kind of details guys go ga-ga over. I know why now. It’s engineered with the kind of details any housekeeper would like!
Turns out he loves using it and does their floors about every other day. Sigh. Thou shalt not envy.
EasyWringTM Spin Mop & Bucket System has a hands-free wringer so after you dip the mop into water in one side of the bucket, you put the mop in the spin side, and simply press the foot pedal to control the moisture level you use. No repetitive bending to wring out the mop!
It’s safe to use on any hard floor surface—hardwood, tile, and laminate—and because you don’t have to saturate your floor, the floor dries quickly.
There’s a telescoping handle (very convenient when short little boys want a turn), the microfiber mop head is machine washable, and the pivoting head lets you get into corners and tight spots for quick and efficient deep cleaning.
My grand discovery? I found out my boys also like using the EasyWringTM Spin Mop & Bucket System! They thought it was way cool to press the pedal and watch the mop spin. Streak-free cleaning and willing helpers? Yes! Move over Tom Sawyer!
The EasyWringTM Spin Mop & Bucket System is really a fun and almost effortless way to tackle messes and well worth the $39.99. Find it and a whole range of O-Cedar household cleaning products at retailers nationwide.
Then get to making this easy slime recipe. My kids loved the whole process. I love it when I discover fun activities don’t turn out to be such a pain to tackle, after all!
