¼cupbutter,melted
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonsalt
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F.
Roll out crescent rolls and cut each of the 8 triangles into three smaller triangles. You’ll end up with 24 small triangles.
Roll a cocktail wiener into each triangle. Start rolling at the largest side of the triangle and end at the smallest side.
Place the crescents at least two inches apart on the baking sheet.
Stir together the melted butter and garlic powder. Spoon evenly over each crescent.
Sprinkle salt over each.
Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crescents have started to lightly brown.
Notes
You could get all the wieners wrapped in the crescent dough ahead of time and onto the baking sheet. Cover in plastic wrap and store in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Brush with the garlic butter and bake when you are ready to serve them.
A pizza cutter makes cutting the crescent dough easy!
Oven temperatures vary and may need to be recalibrated periodically to ensure they are accurate. Make sure to check your pigs in a blanket at the lower end of the recommended baking time.
