Ingredients
½cupsalted butter,room temperature
⅓cuppowdered sugar
2tablespoonshoney
½teaspoonground cinnamon
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
In a medium mixing bowl or bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter, powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and vanilla extract on medium-high speed for 1 minute or until light and fluffy.
Transfer the cinnamon butter to an airtight container (small mason jars work great) and refrigerate until ready to use.
Notes
Make sure your butter is very soft (NOT melted), as it will whip up much smoother and fluffier. It will also allow the other ingredients to be easily incorporated into the butter.
If you use one of those small rubber spatulas, they make it very easy to transfer your cinnamon butter into small mason jars or other containers.
Before using your cinnamon butter, you may want to allow it to sit at room temperature to soften slightly before spreading it on your rolls or other items.
