Ingredients
3cupscubed vine ripe tomatoes,from 4 medium-sized tomatoes cut into 1-inch pieces (approximately 2 ½ inches wide)
¾cupthinly sliced red onion,⅛ to ¼ inch thick half moon slices

Instructions
To a large bowl add the cubed tomatoes, red onion slices, and chopped fresh basil.
In a small bowl, whisk together the extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.
Pour the dressing mixture over the vegetables and gently toss to coat all the tomatoes and onions with the dressing.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the tomato and onion salad for one hour to allow all the ingredients to marinate and combine.
